Life as a Comedian with Victoria Arnstein

Our guest in this episode is comedian Victoria Arnstein. Victoria grew up in Brooklyn New York and Manhattan, then moved to Hawaii 6 years ago. She’s a writer, stand up comedian, is married and a mother of 3 children. She is also an endurance athlete and has won a few races including an ultra marathon, (62 miles). She’s a singer and was going in that direction until switching to stand up comedy in 2012.

She talks about how she started performing comedy in New York by working in sales and making customer laugh. She shares techniques on how to give humor on dark situations and how to light things up. She also advises upcoming comedians about importance of memorizing words and working on the crowd.
