Keller Williams Big Island Seeking Team Leader
The Team Leader of KW Big Island (KWBI), a dynamic, growing Hawaii real estate company, is seeking a Team Leader (TL) to join our Market Center (office) on Hawaii Island/Big Island. Our offices have 65 agents and currently 2 locations: Kona & Hilo.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, fun and team-oriented environment where there is opportunity to make an immediate impact to KWBI and its agents. The Team Leader is uniquely positioned to help KWBI agents to achieve their highest potential and assist in growing our office through production, agent count and profitability.
Position Description and Requirements:
The Team Leader is part of the Executive Leadership Team and plays a key role in the overall management of the Market Center, agent recruiting, technology and career development. Specific TL responsibilities include, but are not limited the following:
Regular Work Activities:
- Work with Operating Principal and Core Group to recruit talent and run Market Center Growth Programs
- Assist the Market Center Administrator (MCA) & Executive Leadership Team in running/executing Retention Programs
- Meet weekly with Operating Principal (OP) to review Market Center reports and discuss strategies/action plans
- Lead Team Meetings
- Research competition and develop strategies for transitioning agents into Keller Williams (KW)
- Drive associates toward proficiency in the use of KW technology, resources and tools
- Train and Coach agents, working closely with the Associate Leadership Council (ALC) & Top 20%, to increase their productivity & profitability based on their goals
- Work with OP to support agents and team with wealth building
- Meet with and support agents to review their production goals and hold them accountable to their plan
- Work in partnership with the Market’s Center’s Productivity Coach (PC) to ensure results for agents
- Contribute to successful results of the Market Center’s Lead Team Program
- Track Market Center and agents’ performance metrics
- Participate in Career Development Committees and assist with creating & implementing a world-class training calendar
- Assist Director of Marketing with Marketing Calendar and Public Relations duties for our KW Big Island office (be the face of KW Big Island!)
- Work with Brokers to answer agents’ and Exec. Team’s Real Estate Business questions
- Assist the Market Center Administrator (MCA) in managing the Executive Leadership Team and agents, to acceptable professionalism & job performance
- Meet with Principal Broker and Executive Leadership Team regularly (i.e. daily huddles, weekly meetings) to help ensure communication, consistency & teamwork.
Job Requirements:
- Proactive, positive attitude
- Learning-based
- Successful sales track record – 2 years preferred
- Hawaii Real Estate License – minimum 2 years preferred (if relocating, can be acquired)
- Proficiency with adapting new technology (internet, intranet & software programs)
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (word, excel, powerpoint)
- MLS proficiency
- Goal setting, planning, accountability skills
- Problem solving skills
- Recruiting skills/track record
- Career development and training skills
- Eager to develop mastery of the KW core agent curriculum: MREA, IGNITE, Lead Generation, Seller & Buyer Mastery; BOLD; scripts for all aspects of real estate; and KW models and systems
- Track record of success in past jobs/tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel for conferences and trainings
